Is Kobe’s physical fitness level so high, because he’s never been out of shape in his whole life?

So what I’m asking is, in order to have a physical fitness level like Kobe, there’s no way you could of been fat or out of shape in your whole life? Is that why it’s so high?

his fitness level isnt actually that high compared to players like lbj,
to answer ur question though, to be an nba player u pretty much have to be fit all ur life cause in most cases the players start basketball at a young age. Rare cases include tim duncan and he only got into basketball because he was extremlely tall.
What seperates kobe from the rest though is because he always practices and practices much longer and harder than the average nba player.
Not necessarily. He attained his body because of hard-work. He is a gym-rat. First thing to come in the gym and the last one to go out. Yes, He’s never been out of shape his whole life because he is working on it. Every summer, that’s when he polish his game. He doesn’t really have any ‘breaks’ playing basketball. Perhaps, he realized that he can’t play basketball or at the top of his game when he turns 40. Thus, he is striving to be the ‘best’ and not just be contented with his God-given talent. He is pounding himself during the off-season to be the best player in the league he currently is now. Afterall, when he retires, he can do whatever he wants. In the meantime, he is the ‘best’ on what he does. That’s why I admire Kobe so much!
In terms of his high level of fitness, if you’re fat and realize that you need an exercise, you can still work upon your body. Who knows? If you work upon something, work hard upon it. A fat guy could be the sexiest guy the next thing we know.
