Recently I took the Physical Fitness Test. I failed the running portion but passed everything else. Will I have to keep taking it until I pass?

Under what circumstances did you take this PFT? What was your max time, and your actual time?

Yes you will. There are guildline as to how long you have to wait between tests. Work on getting your run time down because I know in the Army you will be chaptered out of the service if you don’t pass it by the 3rd time.

Work out your legs, and when you run…run for 3 miles or more. This way, when you run the 2 miles it doesn’t seem as long. Drink lots of water and stretch!

Good luck. If you’d like more tips then feel free to e-mail me.

you will only have too re take the running portion of the test again and if you aced everything else on it you are in good shape i bet
is it your breathing that is slowing you down or side cramps if so hold your hands up above your head and that should help i know because i have those problems before
And to help do start out running fast just jog it will save you energy too last longer
